Everything you need to know about ordering, gifting, caring for, and booking with Pretty House Club. Tap any item to expand. Use the filters to jump to a category.

Orders Order processing & turnaround

Every Pretty House Club capsule is hand-poured, hand-painted, and hand-packed by me in Dallas. Because nothing is mass-produced, please allow 7-14 business days for processing before your order ships.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing the next business day. Need it sooner? Email hello@prettyhouseclub.com with your date and we'll do our best.

Orders Custom & bulk orders

Bulk corporate gifting, wedding favors, branded color palettes, and custom co-pours are all available — minimum quantity 10 capsules. Lead time is 2-4 weeks depending on order size.

Email hello@prettyhouseclub.com with your event details, date, quantity, and any branding requirements. I'll send back a custom quote within 2 business days.

Shipping Where we ship & how long it takes

Pretty House Club currently ships throughout the continental United States. International shipping is coming soon — sign up for the email list to be notified.

After your 7-14 day processing window:

  • Standard ground: 3–7 business days
  • Expedited: 2–3 business days (available at checkout)

You'll receive a tracking number by email the moment your capsule ships.

Shipping Shipping costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your zip code and the weight of your order. Capsules ship in protective packaging to keep glass and canvas safe in transit.

Shipping Damaged in transit

Every capsule is packed with care, but accidents happen. If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Take photos of the damaged box and contents before unpacking further
  2. Email hello@prettyhouseclub.com within 3 days of delivery with the photos and your order number
  3. I'll send a free replacement of the damaged item or refund — your choice

Photos are required because the carrier needs them to file a claim. No photos, no replacement — please don't skip this step.

Returns Returns & refunds

Because every fluid art canvas is one of one and every candle is hand-poured to order, all sales are final.

That said — your satisfaction matters. If something is wrong with your order (damaged, defective, or genuinely not what you expected), email hello@prettyhouseclub.com within 3 days of delivery with photos. I will always make it right.

Returns Lost packages

Once a package is marked delivered by the carrier, Pretty House Club is not responsible for theft or misdelivery. If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received it:

  • Check with neighbors and household members
  • Wait 24 hours — packages occasionally arrive after the delivered scan
  • File a claim directly with the carrier (USPS, UPS, or FedEx)

If you suspect mis-shipment from us, email hello@prettyhouseclub.com with your order number.

Aftercare Soft Life Candle — first burn

Wax has a memory. The first burn sets the pattern for every burn after.

  • Burn time on first light: 2–3 hours, until the wax pool reaches the edge of the jar. This prevents tunneling.
  • Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before every relight (a fingernail's width).
  • Never burn longer than 4 hours at a time. Let it cool completely before relighting.
  • Stop burning when 1/2 inch of wax remains. Continuing past that can overheat the glass.
Aftercare Candle safety
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended
  • Keep out of reach of children, pets, and drafts
  • Burn on a flat, heat-resistant surface — not glass or marble (extreme temperature change can crack a vessel)
  • Keep at least 6 inches away from anything flammable: curtains, books, decor
  • Don't move the candle while the wax is liquid
  • Use a snuffer or blow gently — never water (it can shatter the jar)
Aftercare Re-using your Soft Life jar

The vessel is too pretty to throw away. Once you've finished burning:

  1. Pour boiling water into the jar to loosen any remaining wax
  2. Let it cool — wax will float to the top and harden
  3. Lift it out, wash with warm soap, and you're done

The jar makes a beautiful holder for jewelry, makeup brushes, dried florals, or a small plant.

Aftercare Fluid art canvas — display & care

Every canvas is sealed with a protective resin coat, so it's durable — but a few things will keep it looking its best for years:

  • Display on the included acrylic stand or hang from the back-wired notch
  • Keep out of direct sunlight — UV will dull the colors over time
  • Dust gently with a soft microfiber cloth — no cleaners, no water
  • Avoid humid spaces (bathrooms with steam showers) for long-term display

Each canvas is signed on the back with the original date.

Aftercare Allergens & ingredients

The Soft Life candle is made with:

  • 100% American-grown soy wax
  • Cotton wick (lead-free)
  • Premium phthalate-free fragrance oils

If you have a fragrance sensitivity or specific allergen concern, email hello@prettyhouseclub.com before ordering and I'll send a full ingredient list for the current batch.

Fluid art canvases are sealed with a non-toxic acrylic resin. Once cured, they are food-safe surface contact (though I wouldn't recommend eating off them).

Booking Booking your event

Booking and inquiries are accepted now and held in queue, in the order received.

To inquire: email hello@prettyhouseclub.com with:

  • Event date (and a backup date if possible)
  • Type of event (corporate, home party, wedding, etc.)
  • Number of guests
  • Venue address
  • Any specific themes or palette preferences

I respond within 2-3 business days.

Booking Deposit & payment

A deposit reserves your date and covers your custom materials — it's non-refundable. How the balance is paid depends on your event:

  • Home & small parties: 30% deposit to book; balance due on arrival via card, Zelle, or cash, before setup begins.
  • Corporate: deposit to book; balance day-of or net-15 invoicing on approval.
  • Large events & weddings: deposit to book; balance due 7 days before your event.

Need to move your date? One reschedule is free with 14+ days' notice (subject to availability). Cancellations forfeit the deposit. If I ever have to cancel, you get a full refund plus first pick of a new date at no charge.

Booking Reschedule & cancellation

Rescheduling: 1 free reschedule with at least 14 days' notice. Subsequent reschedules are subject to a $150 admin fee.

Cancellation by client:

  • More than 30 days before event — retainer forfeited, no further charges
  • Less than 30 days — full event balance is owed

Cancellation by Pretty House Club (illness, emergency, force majeure): full refund including retainer, plus first right to reschedule at no fee. I have never cancelled an event, but this protects us both.

Events What I bring & what you provide

I bring: tables, canvases, premium pouring medium, paint in your color palette, every tool, drop cloths, music, aprons, and complete cleanup supplies.

You provide:

  • A flat indoor or covered outdoor surface, at least 3' × 2.5' per guest
  • A small artist demo table (a folding table works)
  • Access to a sink or faucet (preferred but not required)
  • Standard 110V outlet within reach for music
Events Travel & out-of-area events

The first 25 miles from Ennis, TX are included in your package. Beyond:

  • 26–50 miles: $75 flat travel fee
  • 51–80 miles: $140 flat travel fee
  • 80+ miles: $2/mile + lodging if overnight

Out-of-state events welcome — quoted by event with travel and lodging included.

Events Insurance & liability

Pretty House Club carries $1M / $2M general liability insurance. Certificates of insurance (COI) can be provided to your venue on request, with the venue named as additional insured. Allow 5 business days for COI requests.

While I take every precaution (drop cloths, washable supplies), Pretty House Club is not liable for accidental paint damage caused by guests outside the designated workspace. Hosts are encouraged to set expectations with guests.

Events Children's parties

Kids love fluid art — and I love teaching them. Children's events are available for ages 5 and up, with a $10/guest discount applied automatically.

Required:

  • One adult chaperone per 6 children minimum
  • Parental consent forms for any photos used in marketing
  • Event held in a child-safe environment with no open flames or alcohol
Events Photography & marketing

I love documenting events for the Pretty House Club community. By default, I may take photos and short video clips of the workshop in progress and finished pieces — never of identifiable guest faces without permission.

If you'd prefer no photography at all, just let me know in advance — no questions asked. For weddings and private events, all photos are kept private unless you opt in.

Events Alcohol at events

Pretty House Club does not provide, serve, or sell alcohol. If you're hosting a wine-and-paint style event, that's between you and your venue. I ask that:

  • Guests remain in safe condition to participate
  • The host or venue manages any alcohol service
  • If a guest becomes unable to safely paint, I may end their participation early
Custom Custom canvas commissions

I take a limited number of custom commission pieces per month. Sizes available: 5×7, 8×10, 11×14, 16×20, and 24×36. Pricing starts at $65 for 5×7 and scales by size and complexity.

The commission process:

  1. Inquiry form / email Hello@prettyhouseclub.com with your color palette, vibe, or intended space
  2. Mood board approval and 50% deposit
  3. 2–3 week creation window
  4. Photo approval before sealing & shipping
Custom Branded corporate gifting

Custom branded capsules for client appreciation, holiday gifting, employee onboarding, and conference swag. Minimum order: 10 capsules.

Customization options:

  • Color palette matched to your brand
  • Custom candle scent profile (subject to feasibility)
  • Branded keepsake card or insert
  • Co-branded packaging (additional cost)

Quote turnaround: 2-5 business days. Production: 2–3 weeks from approval.

Legal Intellectual property

All Pretty House Club artwork, branding, photography, and written content is the intellectual property of Pretty House Club. Every fluid art canvas is signed and dated; resale is permitted, but reproduction or commercial use of the artwork or brand assets is not.

Custom commissions remain the artist's IP unless a separate work-for-hire agreement is signed.

Legal Privacy & data

Pretty House Club only collects information you provide directly: name, email, shipping address, event details. We use it to fulfill orders, schedule events, and (only if you opt in) send occasional updates about new releases and booking openings.

We never sell, rent, or share your information with third parties beyond what's required to ship your order or process payment.

Legal Terms of service

By placing an order or booking an event with Pretty House Club, you agree to these policies and the Shopify-generated Terms of Service linked in the footer.

If any policy here conflicts with your signed event contract, the event contract controls. Contracts are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
